Perumda PAM Jaya menjamin penyesuaian tarif air bersih berlangganan di Jakarta Selatan tak berdampak pada pada kebutuhan dasar rumah tangga.
“Sosialisasi ini diharapkan memberikan pemahaman yang jelas kepada seluruh masyarakat terkait tarif air PAM Jaya,” kata Senior Manager Regional Barat dan Selatan PAM Jaya, Mohamad Faizal di Jakarta Selatan, Rabu.
Faizal menjelaskan itu dalam program kolaborasi dengan Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Jakarta Selatan menyosialisasikan Peraturan Gubernur (Pergub) Nomor 730 Tahun 2024 tentang Penyesuaian Tarif Dasar Air Bersih PAM Jaya.
Sosialisasi itu membahas tarif pelanggan rumah tangga sederhana yang akan mengalami penurunan dari Rp1.050 menjadi Rp1.000 per meter kubik untuk penggunaan hingga 10 meter kubik pertama.
Menurut dia, penting adanya sosialisasi bersama Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta yang menargetkan pada 2030 Jakarta seluruhnya sudah terlayani air melalui sambungan perpipaan.
“Mari kita bersama-sama mendukung upaya ini demi tercapainya Jakarta yang lebih baik, maju dan sejahtera,” ucapnya.
Sementara, Ketua Sub Kelompok Urusan Pekerjaan Umum Bagian PLH Setko Administrasi Jakarta Selatan, Asti Nihana mengatakan kegiatan ini merupakan wujud nyata dari sinergisitas antara Pemkot Jakarta Selatan dan PAM Jaya sebagai Badan Usaha Milik Daerah (BUMD) penyedia layanan air bersih perpipaan di Jakarta.
“Untuk memaksimalkan sosialisasi ini, kami turut hadirkan perwakilan dari tingkat kecamatan dan kelurahan agar mendapatkan informasi yang jelas dan transparan terkait perubahan tarif air yang akan diberlakukan Januari 2025,” ujar Asti.
Asti berharap, PAM Jaya dapat terus menjaga kualitas pelayanan dan memastikan setiap warga mendapatkan akses terhadap air bersih dengan harga terjangkau.
“Mudah-mudahan melalui sosialisasi ini masyarakat dapat memahami adanya penyesuaian tarif ini. Kemudian, PAM Jaya bisa terus meningkatkan kualitas dan pelayanan PAM Jaya,” harapnya.
