Menteri Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu’ti mengenalkan dua kebijakan baru, di antaranya 7 Kebiasaan Anak Indonesia Hebat dan Pagi Ceria.
Kebijakan tersebut dikemukakan oleh Abdul Mu’ti saat melakukan kunjungan kerja dan bertindak sebagai pembina upacara di SMAN 3 Semarang pada Senin (7/1).
“Kementerian Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah menerbitkan kebijakan Tujuh Kebiasaan Anak Indonesia Hebat, yang meliputi bangun pagi, berdoa, berolahraga, makan sehat dan bergizi, gemar belajar, bermasyarakat, serta istirahat cepat,” kata Abdul Mu’ti melalui keterangan di Jakarta, Selasa.
Selain itu, Abdul Mu’ti juga memaparkan Pagi Ceria yang dimulai dengan senam, menyanyikan lagu Indonesia Raya, dan berdoa sebelum memulai pelajaran, di mana keduanya bertujuan untuk membentuk anak-anak Indonesia yang hebat, membangun generasi yang memiliki kepribadian yang kuat.
ia menjelaskan kedua kebijakan ini ditujukan sebagai upaya untuk membangun generasi yang kuat, hebat, memiliki kekuatan jasmani dan rohani, serta memiliki kemampuan bidang sains dan teknologi serta berbagai keterampilan untuk bekal siswa-siswi Indonesia di masa yang akan datang.
Mendikdasmen Abdul Mu’ti juga mengingatkan kepada para siswa untuk bersiap menghadapi era yang penuh tantangan, atau era disrupsi, di mana dunia mengalami perubahan yang cepat.
“Kita sekalian dituntut untuk tidak hanya memiliki kemampuan-kemampuan teknik, kemampuan motorik, serta kemampuan yang bersifat akademik, tetapi juga kemampuan-kemampuan yang disebut dengan soft skill, terutama skill yang dibutuhkan di abad 21, yaitu critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, dan communication,” ujarnya.
Tak sampai di situ, Mendikdasmen menambahkan bahwa butuh dua kemampuan lagi untuk menjadi bangsa yang hebat dan kuat.
“Untuk kita tumbuh menjadi bangsa yang kuat dan generasi yang hebat, diperlukan dua ‘C’ lagi, yaitu character dan citizenship. Generasi Indonesia yang hebat itu adalah mereka yang memiliki kompetensi intelektual, kompetensi sosial, kompetensi spiritual, dan kompetensi-kompetensi yang berkaitan dengan generasi sebagai well being,” tutur Abdul Mu’ti.
Diketahui, mulai tahun 2025 Kemendikdasmen mengajak peserta didik pendidikan dasar dan menengah di berbagai daerah untuk mulai mengikuti aktivitas Pagi Ceria sebelum memulai pelajaran dan melakukan Tujuh Kebiasaan Anak Indonesia Hebat.
